01 · Project
Street Football League is a mobile football game that reimagines American football through a street culture lens — combining the strategy and excitement of the sport with urban aesthetics, character customization, and a streetwear-meets-athletic visual identity.
My role spanned the entire creative process — from the original game concept and gameplay mechanics through character design, 3D modeling, animation, and the complete UX/UI of the mobile app. This project represents one of the deepest end-to-end creative undertakings in my portfolio.
02 · Character & Team Design
Each team has two visual modes: a professional uniform version (matching traditional NFL-style gear in the team's colors) and a street version (casual urban outfits that reflect the team's personality and culture). This dual-identity system is central to the game's concept — you play the same team differently depending on the mode.
Each character was designed, modeled in 3D, rigged, and animated — creating a fully realized cast of 10 team variations with distinct personalities, poses, and visual attitudes.

03 · App UX/UI
The mobile app UX was designed around speed and immersion. The home screen surfaces the three core actions — Play, Teams, and Store — with 3D rendered character imagery as the visual centerpiece. The team customization screen lets players build their squad identity before heading to the field.

04 · Gameplay Design
The gameplay screen was designed to surface maximum information without overwhelming the player. The top HUD shows: team avatars, score, game clock, down & distance, and team logos — all readable at a glance during fast-paced play.
The play selection system is the game's key strategic mechanic — players choose between offensive plays (Counter, Crash, Cruces) or defensive formations (Lock Down, 3 Profundos, Zona, Zona Terrestre) before each down. Play diagrams use color-coded route arrows to communicate tactics instantly, even to casual players.

05 · Game Environments
The game features two distinct environments that reinforce the dual identity of Street Football — an urban street court for the casual mode and a professional grass field for the league mode. Both share the same HUD and control system: a left-side joystick for movement and a right-side action pad (A, B, X, Z) for actions.

06 · End-game States
The three possible game outcomes each have a distinct emotional expression through the player's 3D character — standing tall for a win (¡Ganaste!), slumped in defeat (Perdiste), or standing neutral for a draw (Empate). This character-driven result screen reinforces the personal investment in the team and makes outcomes feel meaningful beyond just a score.
