MiBIMBO (Museo Interactivo Bimbo) is Grupo Bimbo's flagship experiential museum — a space where visitors of all ages connect with the brand's 80+ year history through interactive digital installations, gamified experiences, and personalized content.
The scope was two-fold: design the complete museum website as the digital front door for the experience, and create multiple interactive in-museum digital installations — each with its own visual language and interaction model, while remaining cohesive under the MiBIMBO brand.

The design needed to communicate the museum as a premium, family-friendly destination while handling practical pre-visit needs: ticket purchasing, visit planning, museum information, and content marketing through the blog.
The visual system uses Bimbo's red and blue brand palette in a bold, editorial, large-type approach that feels energetic and modern without losing the brand's warmth and multi-generational appeal.

03 · Museum Experiences
Inside MiBIMBO, visitors encounter four distinct digital experiences — each with its own color palette, visual metaphor, and interaction model, all rooted in Bimbo's warmth, nostalgia, and family identity.
A personalized storytelling kiosk with a television show aesthetic — spotlights, marquee frames, microphones. Visitors share a memorable moment with a Bimbo or Marinela product via a story inspiration wheel and video recording. Supports Spanish and English with personalized greetings from entry wristband data.
"Cuenta tu Historia" — welcome, group selection, and inspiration wheel
A gamified experience where visitors choose a historical Bimbo uniform — Vendedor (1945) or Panadero — and learn the role's history through illustrated character cards, a progress timer, and trivia-style reveals.

The mobile companion app personalizes each visit — identity selection, favorite product picker from an illustrated catalog, and a customized path through the museum's interactive rooms.

"Comparte tus Recetas" — visitors build a sandwich using a 3D illustrated food builder with categorized ingredient trays. "Crea tu Comercial" — visitors become advertising directors, creating a brief for a Christmas Bimbo commercial.
